Barnes and noble nook ereader Wi-Fi

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

This is a review of the nook wi- fi by barnes and nobles. My Voice is incredibl

To me, the nook is the best e reader on the market. The touch screen is smooth, and creates a sexy look, unlike the amazon kindle, which seems outdated, with the buttons. The Nook Wi-Fi (which is what i have in the video) is 150 dollars, making it one of the Most affordable e readers in the market. Also, there are over 95 thousand free ebooks. With a battery life of up to 10 days, you rarely have to charge it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product if you do not want to hold a ten pound book or bring 30 books on a trip. Plus, ebooks are usually cheaper than the actual book. Thanks!

The Ipad Broke My Neck!!! (4.10.10)

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

Twitter – http://www.twitter.com/thetimtracker I really enjoy watching daily vlogs from YouTube stars like CTFxC ( CharlesTrippy ), SHAYTARDS, LisaNova, KassemG, and iJustine; so I decided to do my own! I make a video everyday. If you like this one be sure to check out all the rest, and subscribe for future videos. I went to the apple store to actually put my hands on a real life apple ipad, so i could give my review a little credibility. It is a pretty neat little device, but I think I am still trying to compare the ipad to something that it is not. I want it to do more! Like a super light easy to use thin little lap top. Instead I should be looking at it to bridge the gap between the function of a lap top and the function of an iphone. Almost like a super cool sleek net book. It got me so worked up that I decided to have a game night at my house followed by a quick back and neck adjustment by a friend of mine that is a chiropractor.

Amazon Kindle 2 Review

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

More on this post is at http://www.TechBytez.net … Here is the review in written format:

The Amazon Kindle 2 is a device that is now very unnoticable to many people because of the new eReaders like the Barnes & Noble Nook, Sony’s eReader, and the new contender, the Apple iPad. The Amazon Kindle features a slim line design that is as thin as a magazine measuring in at 1/3 inch. It is also lighter than a regular paperback book. I like how thin it is because it feels very “comfy” in the hand. I have no strain in the hand and it is easier to hold than a regular book. You can also hold it with one hand which is better. This lightweight design makes it very unique and a feature that I like. Besides from the lightweight design, the Kindle has 3g built in which is a great perk. I can download books for a low price anywhere. On other eReaders it is a premium that you have to pay up front for all future use. The Kindle 2 has a 6″ paper like display that displays print clearly and does not strain your eye. Of course with this technology it takes about a 1-2 second intermission to change the page. This might remind you like one of those magnet pads where when you write you see the magnet lift up. It is kind of like that only that is obviously faster, clearer, and has a crispier text. So overall the display is used with e-ink which is good for reading. The Kindle has a built in web browser which is terribly slow and has to deal with the e-ink display. If I was the design team, I would have not implemented this feature. The storage of this device is fantastic, as Amazon claims you can get a maximum of over 1500 books. I don’t really know if that is completely true, as my Kindle only holds a few favorites of mine. The battery life is good, lasting for one week, but I do get the annoyance of having to recharge whenever I do want to read a book because I don’t read books as much as I read things online. Another feature implemented into the Kindle which is overlooked by some is the text-to-speech feature. This basically reads the text out loud. While using this feature, books are never the same. The text to speech software is horrible and does not show the character emotion or anything. In the future they should fix this in maybe a much needed software update. Now you may want to know how are you going to get books. Amazon has their own store which boasts a large selection of over 620,000 books. This is a lot more than other eReader contenders. I like that most best sellers appear in the store. To access the store, you have to go through a couple of menus but then you can use the physical qwerty keyboard. Yes, the Kindle has a qwerty keyboard that has keys that are very “clicky” in my opinion. I really am glad that they added this as I like this very much! Overall, this is a great device and I hope you enjoy my very long review. I know it was a long one, but to me it was a good one. I am fascinated that this device has no eye strain and is able to connect to get books virtually globally.

Have a creative day, more reviews, leaks, and info on the way!

Kobo eReader review

Sunday, July 11th, 2010

Kobo eReader , which has the same-size 6-inch e-ink display as the $259 Kindle and Nook, is something of a no-frills e-reader with no Wi-Fi or 3G wireless connectivity (and the screen has 8 levels of gray, not 16). However, it does offer a Bluetooth connection for “wirelessly syncing with select smartphones and updating your reading list on the go.” It comes with 1GB of internal memory, and there’s an SD card expansion slot for adding more. (Borders has full tech specs, on its site).
