Some thoughts on recent devolpments in the world of books, reading & the rise of the eReader.
This is a review of the nook wi- fi by barnes and nobles. My Voice is incredibl
In this episode of D3Live I compare the third generation Amazon Kindle against the Barnes and Noble Nook and the Apple iPad to help you decide which is the best ereader available. Starting at $139 the Amazon Kindle 3 Wi-Fi model is undoubtedly a great price for a very solid product. The Barnes and Noble Nook also has a lot going for it for only $149 for the Wi-Fi only model as it contains both a standard E-Ink display as well as a 3.5 inch color touch screen. Lastly there is the Apple iPad which while it starts at $499 for the Wi-Fi only variant there’s no doubt it does much more than an ordinary ereader. Be sure to watch the full video to find out which is the best ereader.
People have been complaining about the price of ebook readers for years, but now Kobo is launching their eReader for $149. They have a partnership with Borders and after spending time with the device I think it will be a hot seller. They have a great library and now hardware that is quite good for a dedicated ebook reader.
Digital books are the future of reading and eBook Readers hold digital copies of all your favorite books. Before you lay down money for an eBook Reader make sure it has all the features you need.
Sony, Kindle and Nook-on the task to get a book and start reading, who’s faster?
This is my first review of the barnes and noble nook eReader wifi + 3g version. I will be having more after using it for a couple more weeks. Be sure to subscribe and check out our other videos.
I spent twenty minutes with the Barnes & Noble Nook today, and loved it. To my surprise, when I got home I found out a brand new Nook is coming, actually two of them. There will be a Nook Lite (without 3G – basically WiFi only), and a Nook 2 (Project Encore at this time). I just hope they don’t screw it up, because in it’s present generation, I love it. Some may compare it to the Kindle. I don’t like the Kindle, because you cannot side load other format books (i.e. epub books).
Looks like a real book!
