A video review of the Amazon Kindle 3 ebook reader. You can read our full written review on our website: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/gadgets/Amazon-Kindle-3.htm . This is Amazon’s newest 6″ eReader and it features a high contrast Pearl e-Ink display that’s much more readable under low light. The 3rd gen Kindle is also significantly smaller and lighter than the Kindle 2. It now has a web-kit web browser, improved PDF handling and it’s available in two version: one with WiFi and one with WiFi + 3G. We compare it with B&N nook, the kobo reader and the Kindle DX Graphite.
This is the ‘burnt orange’ version of the official Kindle case – minus Kindle since its not been despatched. People have been asking about the quality of official cases – and their how accurate the online pictures were of their colours – on the official Kindle forum, so I thought this would be useful. This case should really be £15 – £20 and, on reflection, it might not be smaller than StarCraft 2. Mebbe the Kindle case is even a bit bigger.

Len Edgerly, host of the Reading Edge podcast, purchased four e-book copies of Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel–one each for Sony Reader, Kobo, nook, and Kindle–in order to compare the reading experience for the same book on four leading e-readers. After eliminating the devices that do not offer dictionary, notes, and highlights, the tournament ends with a nook v. Kindle battle through five tests. You’ll learn which device was the victor, as well as many details about the reading experience on competing e-readers. Recorded in Cambridge, Mass., on August 15, 2010, before release of the Kindle 3 and nook 2.
Hey everyone this is my review/first impressions of the Barnes & Noble Nook e-reader. I really like this device if you just need a device to read books, the only thing I don’t like about it is, It’s a bit laggy on the capacitive touch screen, but not to bad. I definitely would prefer this over other e-readers.
