Let’s face it – you saw it coming, right? Today, fans of the Amazon to launch a new e-book reader with the title is simple … Kindle. The new handheld – 27 August will be released – is 21 percent smaller and 15 percent lighter than its predecessor, has a 20 percent higher refresh rate on its e-ink (yes, even E Ink) screen, and now in two colors (graphite, as its big brother, DX, and the original white). In addition to color changes, there is two radio configurations: a version of its WiFi only $ 139, and a 3G version of $ 189 (with the AT & T network, as the last model). The screen will remain the same size from 6 inches over the last two turns, but the company says, the page turn faster and the contrast is improved. The camera’s internal memory has been crank 4GB and battery life is now estimated at one month, wireless, and 10 days with wireless on. The company also announced plans for a localized version in the United Kingdom at £ 109 and £ 149 respectively, and a business in the United Kingdom e-book.

With big changes, there were smaller changes as well – since the keyboard and controls the five senses have been streamlined and modified slightly. The Rocker is more compact and were flush with the camera and side buttons changed to emphasize the importance of long paddles, while the keys have been cut back. Software wise, there are some interesting features, most notable being the inclusion of an “experimental” browser WebKit. If you wait for the next iterations go even bolder in their multimedia capabilities, we will direct a few choice quotes from Amazon, Jeff Bezos, care WSJ: “For the vast majority of the books, adding the video and animation do not help . It is disturbing, rather than strengthen. but you will not by video clips of Hemingway, “later adding,” there will be improved 100 companies that LCD screen .. [] tablets. why do we want to be 101? I like the construction of a reader built for this purpose. I think that’s where we can make a real contribution will be. ”

We had a chance to play with the camera for a short period at a meeting with the company, and we can say that the Kindle is still reader you know and love (or hate, depending on your preferences). The quality of construction and materials used seem a bit more polished than the previous version, and we liked the new, subtle rocker. We can also be updated on the screen and the Global Navigation testify feeling much more sensitive and faster compared to the previous generation. Amazon jacket show accessories that will be available at the start, which contains a small, lightweight pull-out sessions for the late-night reading. We are sure there will be a lot of people want to keep intact please their partners, as they tear the girl with the dragon tattoo. We have a comprehensive review as soon as we can lay hands on the device, but for now, check all information in the video and PR after the break, and feast your eyes on some photos in the news gallery below.

First Look at the Nook

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

I spent twenty minutes with the Barnes & Noble Nook today, and loved it. To my surprise, when I got home I found out a brand new Nook is coming, actually two of them. There will be a Nook Lite (without 3G – basically WiFi only), and a Nook 2 (Project Encore at this time). I just hope they don’t screw it up, because in it’s present generation, I love it. Some may compare it to the Kindle. I don’t like the Kindle, because you cannot side load other format books (i.e. epub books).

WATTPAD APP FOR IPHONE/ITOUCH REVIEW BY JMONA

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

Hello everyone, im very excited to bring you the news and a quick review of the long waited app for iPhone or iPod touch, this application is an E-reader, like the others on the AppStore but BETTER in my opinion.
It has the ability of letting you download any book you want to read on any language you can think of for FREE, specially if there is a book you would like to read but dunno if its good enough for you to spend your money on it, there is Wattpad for this and more!
I had been stuck with this application for years and let me tell you by personal experience this is by far the best app yet for an e-reader junkie as my self.
I have 3 gripes only but those have been brought out to the developers yet who will try to fix this on the next update and those are:
1. I would like the ability to log in to my account to make it easier to search ion my own library if there is something i uploaded for my use exclusively.

2. the ability of saving where i left off so wnext time i ppick up from there, like i started reading and left off on page 32 i would like next time i launch the book for it to come back there.

3. the Ads they get annoying after a while, but since im Jailbroken at the moment that is not an issue cus i can trun those off on Safari and there for another apps, yet again i know its important for the developers because is thanks to those sponsors that this apps make it to the appstore.

After all this all i have to say is GREAT JOB GUYS, the Wattpad Team really ROCKS!!! i had been waiting for this app for the longest time and now that is out its really nice and its already on the first page of my springboard since its been my fav reading app in other devices and now having it on the iPhone all i can say is ‘KINDLE WHO” who needs a kindle when you have an iphone with Wattpad on it???

Also they have a give away right now going on and that is for an iPod Touch on their Facebook Page:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Wattpad/127093020051

you can find info there about they give away in one of their blogs, all you have to do is comment and might have the chance to win!

and NO im not affiliated with Wattpad in anyway, Im just a Loyal Reader, Member of their community passing the word along to all those Wattpadders that have stuck with this app like i have because it deserves the loyalty for the great service they bring.
